2010/2011 Budget Hearing Meeting Dates

Notice is hereby given that Finance Chair, Daniel Davis will meet with the Finance Committee members in Council Chambers located at 117 W. Duval St., 1st Floor, St. James Building on the following dates to discuss the 2010-2011 Budget.

Thurs., 8/12/10 – 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. (break from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.)

Thurs., 8/19/10 – 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. (break from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.)

Thurs., 8/26/10 – 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. (break from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.)

Duval Legislative Delegation

The Duval Legislative Delegation Office is provided for by the Charter and is budgetarily accounted for and supported in the Office of General Counsel. 

The staff of the Duval Legislative Delegation Office prepares documents, coordinates schedules, and plans legislator community outreach activities.  It acts as a liaison between citizens and local government for state office-holders representing Duval County.

The office is presently staffed with a Delegation Coordinator and provides support for the Charter Revision Commission.  In addition, the office develops and supports the delegation website and provides legislative information to the Consolidated Government and its citizens to provide increased transparency into the legislative process.

Budget:

In 2010, the operational budget for the Legislative Delegation Office is $86,366.
