2010/2011 Budget Hearing Meeting Dates
Notice is hereby given that Finance Chair, Daniel Davis will meet with the Finance Committee members in Council Chambers located at 117 W. Duval St., 1st Floor, St. James Building on the following dates to discuss the 2010-2011 Budget.
Thurs., 8/12/10 – 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. (break from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.)
Thurs., 8/19/10 – 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. (break from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.)
Thurs., 8/26/10 – 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. (break from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.)

Procurement
This division has 37 employees that oversee the procurement of all goods and services, the inventory/sale of surplus tangible property, the central copy center and mail distribution services – both incoming and outgoing – throughout city departments and divisions. The division works to ensure that all purchases are completed at the best value pursuant to Chapter 126 of the Municipal Code.
Pursuant to Chapter 122 of the Municipal Code, Procurement’s Central Surplus Facility manages the city’s surplus tangible property and holds public auctions, which generate approximately $1 million in revenue annually.
Budget:
In 2010, the budget for the Procurement Division is $4,363,205.
